The five minute rule is something that every procrastinator (like me) should use.
When I feel lazy and don’t feel like doing something I just tell myself I’ll do it only for five minutes. That way it doesn’t seem so difficult.
After five minutes, if I want to stop, I just stop and don’t feel like I failed because my goal was five minutes.
But most of the times I just keep doing it. Once I’m in it, I enjoy it.
Our brain is like a big car, it’s hard to keep moving but once it is, it gets easier.
